Prayer and meditation practice throughout the course of the day has its roots in many traditions. This type of practice often functions as a bell of mindfulness, an antidote for forgetfulness, a reorienting of the body/mind on a daily basis to big heart, to big mind, and a remembering of the ways of the Spirit in the full body of the universe. It helps us not to get stuck in the trance of the daily grind, or the ego mind’s personal agenda. It holds us in its container as we once again step consciously into the grand dance with the divine.
